ESET is a solid anti-malware engine, useful firewall settings, a password manager with form filling, browser protection and good network security tools. Its parental control security, secure browser, and anti-theft tools are adequate, but nothing exceptional. It doesn’t offer VPN or microphone protection, but it does provide remote screen capture or camera access for a view of what a thief is doing on your mobile or laptop.

The app is designed with an intuitive interface that beginners can easily comprehend but also contains extensive information and features here are the findings for those who are more advanced. The company provides excellent customer service, which can be accessed via their website, or by contacting the client directly through the “support” button that is at the bottom of each app.

We really liked the way that ESET Internet Security shows you the way it’s protecting your computer by displaying a status bar at the top of the screen and provides detailed protection statistics. The software will inform you on your desktop, right next to the system tray, whenever something important happens on your computer.

However, the antivirus’s anti-phishing tools were a little too vigilant and it blocked quite a number of websites that are not listed on PhishTank that I trust. Also when we connected into a USB storage device into our laptop the program automatically scanned it, which was a bit irritating as other programs typically ask you for permission to do so.
